African American Cultural Center
Through a representative board of faculty, students, and administrators, the African American Cultural Center destines to enhance multicultural sensitivity, eliminate prejudicial behavior, and promote the academic, personal, and social growth of students by exposing members of the IUP and local community to a variety of culturally and educationally enriching programs and services related to the history, culture, and heritage of Africans/African Americans. Participation in this program is open to all members of the IUP community.

Office of Social Equity
The Office of Social Equity works to assist in the creation of a campus environment that promotes diversity and values individual differences.

Black Student League
Stimulating the unity of the black students at IUP is the main purpose of the Black Student League. With that goal in mind, this organization will pursue the path of providing programs to meet the academic, cultural, political, and social needs of black students. This organization shall also function as a representative of the black students, to air their needs and feelings concerning certain issues which may affect any facet of their lives while living here in Indiana. This organization shall strive to initiate and maintain a level of communication with the black students registered at the university and, by doing so, hope to achieve a band of communications branching out not only to the black students, but also to the other students as well. Membership is open to any student who is currently attending IUP. For more information on this organization, please contact the president and/or advisor listed below.

National Organization of Colored People
The NAACP's principal objective is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens of United States and eliminate race prejudice. The NAACP seeks to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through the democratic processes.

Pan African Student Association
The objectives of the Pan-African Student Association are to:
- Identify the common problems faced by African people and people of African descent and to explore solutions to these problems
- Promote the crucial contributions that Africa’s future leaders can make to the development of Africa
- Give vitality to the studies of African students by showing how they can use their studies to address the problems of Africa and contribute to technology transfer to the continent, to the return of talent to Africa and to the spirit of service to the people of Africa
- Create a more informed awareness among Americans about events in Africa and build a stronger sense of collaboration among African students, Americans, and all of humankind as a basis for an international network of leaders

The Entertainment Network (TEN)
The Entertainment Network provides affordable, student-centered entertainment of the best possible quality to the IUP campus community. TEN provides programs of a cultural, recreational, social, and educational nature to the students of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and provides students with opportunities to shape their environment through the selection, production, and evaluation of those programs.

Student Organization for Caribbean Awareness
The mission of SOCA is to bring Caribbean awareness to the campus of IUP. You do not have to be from the islands to join this organization. Through music, food and events we will bring an "island twist" to Indiana.
